casino365.ro is an encyclopedia of gambling: how the games work, what their mathematics says, who holds a licence in Romania and where the venues whose address the authority publishes are. The site is strictly informational.
What the site does not do
- It does not advertise gambling and does not link to any operator, land-based or online. There are no links, buttons or codes on the site that lead to a game.
- It does not put operators or venues in any order of merit. Lists are alphabetical or by city.
- It does not name online platforms. For an operator holding a remote gambling licence, the site only says that it holds that licence, with its number and validity.
- It does not present operators that hold no licence from Romania's National Gambling Office (ONJN).
Where the data come from
Operators, their licences and the venues with an address come from ONJN's public registers: the list of class I licensed operators, the list of class II licensees and the monthly lists of licensed organisers. Every record keeps its source and the date it was extracted.
Company names are written one way. The registers use different styles (all capitals, legal forms abbreviated in several ways); the site brings them to the same form without changing the name, and the register's own writing is kept in the internal record.
Casinos outside Romania come from the official lists of the authorities that license them in each country: the regulator, the ministry or the official gazette. Each country's page names the list used and the date it was extracted. For these casinos, the site shows only the place: the name, the address and the city.
An operator appears on the site only while it holds a licence valid that day. When the licence expires, the operator leaves the list without any manual step. Where the register does not publish a piece of information, the field stays empty: nothing is filled in from other sources or from guesses.
How the figures are computed
Probabilities, payouts and house edges are not copied from anywhere. Every figure is computed by the site from the rules of the game: the number of pockets on the roulette wheel, the cards in the deck, the combinations of the dice. Where a calculation depends on rules that vary between venues, the page says which rules it assumed.
The figures show what happens on average, in the long run. Over a short period the result can be anything; over a long one it approaches the average, and the average favours the house.
The news
The news is written by the site's editors and covers three topics: legislation and ONJN orders, ONJN's activity, self-exclusion and the prevention of addiction. Every item has its date and a link to its official source: ONJN, the Government and the ministries, the Official Gazette, the legislation portal or the institutions of the European Union. The news names no operator and does not report on investigations or sanctions.
Responsible gambling
The content is intended for people aged 18 or over. The responsible gambling page explains the signs of problem gambling, self-exclusion in Romania and where to get help.
